For quite some time now, the Republican party has been the obstructionists and against progressive reforms.. 'true' gun reform.. minimum wage reform.. dark money in our elections (of which both Democrats and Republicans must claim a responsibility).. education and housing reforms beneficial not just for Whites but for all races.. and, of course, law enforcement.

Some say GOD'S Spirit left the Republican party when Trump was elected as POTUS. I, conversely, believe it left long before that. In fact, one might say while Reagan's “War on Drugs” had a profound impact on GOD'S decision to pull his Spirit from the Republican party, even before that GOD could see they were moving in a contrary direction.

Today, the Republican party is made up of conspiracy theorists; power-stricken, White grievers; haters of democracy; supporters of systemic racism, as well as many being racist themselves. And besides being the masters of voter suppression and gerrymandering, they are among the foremost liars to ever breathe air in the world.

As the party I believe has been taken over by the "evil spirit of Satan", the majority of the Republican Base does not think with a "Fact-Check" mindset. They exist only in opposition of equality and long for the social, political and economical power they once completely owned! This is a little of how I see and hear the Republican party of today.
