Big Tech's toxic recommendation algorithms are amplifying hate-mongering and disinformation - weaponizing every societal fault line with relentless surveillance to maximise
Ad revenues and/or to spread their ultra right-wing political agenda. These systemic risks are not a glitch but are by design an unconscionable, unethical business
model. And no amount of regulation and legislation will result in these platforms to de-risk their design, detox their algorithms, stop their manipulation machine and
give us real control over our data. The real answer to this massive problem is to have a non-profit progressive Social media such as Anoox Social that by design does this.
Social media that Stops surveillance for profit
You have been conned into giving "Agreement" for your own surveillance by the Big tech. Because you we were never given a meaningful choice. The Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA) of the European Union attempt to just mend, not put an end, to surveillance advertising that people never asked for and people were forced to agree because people had no real choice.
But it is rather toothless as long as people have no real Choice to the Big tech, because Social media and Search engine are as part of the modern life as are Running Water,

DSA has tried to create stronger powers for regulators to hold Big Tech to account, including through robust audit
and fines, but 1st Big tech effectively circumvents these fines and orders via endless litigation, and 2nd these fines as well alluded to by various EU leaders are essentially
cost of "doing business as usual" by Big tech. So the only way not to repeat the failures of enforcement and regulations, is to have

None of us asked for this, but all of us are affected by it. By the division and lies and hate-mongering that they are bombarding us with, which is chipping away at our basic freedoms
and undermining liberal Democracy itself.
From the toxic news feeds and misinformation designed to engage and enrage each one of us, to finely optimized and targeted Ads designed to play to our fears.
And all a long Big Tech CEOs get richer and richer using our private data to build their vast advertising empires of we the people, who are seen by them as commodity, ready for exploitation.
Solution - People coming together via the progressive Social media
We believe in a digital world built for empowerment -- not brainwashing; For connection -- not addiction. We want our children to grow up with tools designed for discovery
and self-expression, not exploitation and isolation. So if you believe in the same, then get off your asses and get involved.
Because Big Tech corporations and their Billionaire owners are expecting you to do the usual, which is to follow
them "like Sheep to slaughter", and to then use and abuse
you to build their vast fortunes, to cheat you out of the original promise of the Internet and World Wide Web.
But you as a proud Human being, and not a Sheep, can say "enough is enough", so that together we can fight back and have the Internet and
the World Wide Web
everyone deserves, so that we can
again have the promise of the Internet & World Wide Web as forces for
Good and Democracy.
