The Mormon views on children of same-sex marriages

The LDS Church have decided to prevent the baptism of young people whose "parents" are in a same-sex marriage/partnership unless they renounce their parents' lifestyle and promise to leave the family home at 18.
Can anyone think of any Biblical justification for this or are they visiting the sins of the parents upon the children?
