During the post regarding abortion, I tried my best in words and attitude. I was prepared to continue until the cows came home. I could tell my words were falling on deaf ears and could sense a rebellious prideful spirit but could not find it in myself to stop and walk away. It wasn't until a fellow Christian advised me to stop, before I was able to stop and walk away.
Is that the test? Is it through affirmation from another Christian which we should use to measure the limits of our words when falling on deaf ears so that we know that we are to stop? My spirit desperately wants to reach out to those blinded by ignorance which has the death-grip of bondage on them. How are we to know we are done and are simply wasting our time?
Matthew 7:6,
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
Matthew 10:14
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.
