How do i activate my wordpress on IFTTT

i have made a wordpress blog site about Taxi service in London.
i am trying to activate wordpress channel on my IFTTT account and no matter what i try it keeps coming up saying "can not verify your account credentials" i can not activate the channel i just dont know why i have put in all the correct details like username password and website address i have given up now trying to do it.
Does any one know any thing i am forgetting to do?
