I want my Yorkshire pudding, i try to make to rise and come out big and crispy instead it always comes out looking like a pizza either flat or soft and suidgy.I use two eggs and beat them, then make sure i use the same amount of self raising flour in content as to what the eggs were on a cup marked out then the same amount of water and then mix them all up, add a pinch of salt and i beat the mixture until smooth with no lumps then put in a fridge.I heat my sunflower oil about half a cm in a round dish, till smoking in oven, take out my batter mx from fridge and pour it in to sizzling oil in the centre of the dish and then shove in the oven for about 20 min.The end result after 20 min is still it has not risen and i have not opened the oven door i believe i have done all correct but i just cant get perfect risen yorkshire pudding just a flat sad soft cooked batter. Is there a way i can get to make it perfect something i have forgot or doing wrong?
