In Matthew Chapter 7, Jesus addresses several aspects of living in a right relationship with God. He warns about judging others; He invites us to ask, seek, knock; He reveals how to detect false sheep; He declares the proper foundation for fatih. Based upon its place within the context of this WHOLE chapter, who are they that receive the judgment in verse 23: "I NEVER KNEW you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Please notice the EMPHASIS that I have placed on the words "NEVER KNEW''. Please read the WHOLE chapter before responding, as I'm seeking an answew consistent with the CONTEXT of this passage. HINT: the last verse indicates a DIFFERENT meaning than 'practicing lawlessness', because it states -"He taught them as one having authority, and NOT as the scribes (the teachers of the law)."
