What is best domain hosting company?

I am looking for a new domain hosting company to buy a bunch of domains.
We have tried Godaddy and hate it.
And also hate 1and1. Because they both have Web sites that makes it very difficult to manage your domains and have really bad customer support.

So is there a domain hosting company that treats the customers with respect and not trash and has a user friendly Web site? And whom sells .com Domains for about $9.99 per year per domain?
