Why God, Why?

Why God, Why?

How often we have heard these words? Perhaps we have even said them, when something bad comes into our lives. We can't understand why bad things happen to good people - especially when that "good person" is us!

Before we ask the question relating to our own situation, perhaps we need to ask God about some other instances.

Why God, why did you provide a covering for the sin of Adam and Eve, rather than strike them down for their disobedience?

Why God, why did you save 8 people in the Ark rather than just wipe out humankind and start again?

Why God, why did you send your only Son to die for us on that tree?

When we have satisfactorily understood the answers to those three questions, we will be in a position to ask God why things are happening to us.

[Isa 55:9 KJV] 9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

1 Cor 10:13 - No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
