When it comes to social norms it appears that people are more than not more self-absorbed with themselves than anything else. Take, for instance, those who ask questions in forums and genuinely don't know the answer to their question so they ask for advice. I've noticed that the people that give answers are often snotty, judgemental and seem to make the person asking the question feel very insignificant. It really deters the person from even asking questions in the first place because of the backlash for the way the question was answered back to the individual. Do you think technology as a part of the way people conduct themselves nowadays? Just a question or observation and my take on the situation.
