What you think about professional athletes not standing for national anthem?

Good day everyone. I know I've been away for a minute, but I would like to know how you all feel about the recent comments and actions concerning professional athletes not standing for the national anthem? Do you believe they are disrespecting the flag, yes or no? I am asking because I as a Veteran of the US Army MP Corpse and as a Christian I may have different views than others, but I'd like to hear from you and let's all respect and appreciate each other's views.
