Are Home Business Opportunities REAL Business?

Have you ever responded to online advertising that promise immediate income from a Home Business Opportunity? Have you found them to be legit, or scams? Has anyone really profited from such opportunities? Thanks for your input.

Yes, they sure are. As long as they do not promise you the Moon and ask you get into MLM situation.
IMHO, best Home Business Opportunities are those that target your local community, to be exact no more than 50 Miles drive from your location. And you need to be a real Peoples person.

I agree, As long as they are selling legit products and services, and not a quick get rich scheme and they have SOLID Advertising Dollars behind them, they can be good.

Good question and it only take common sense to sort through the madness with these affiliate programs.
First, of which of you will create a million dollar business and then sell ownership, that will be your competition for mere pennies on the dollar what it cost you to get started?

None! of you I would suspect to be the answer.

Many those types programs are only designed to get the owner pockets fat by you signing up. It's like me coming to you to get you to invest $1000 USD in my business I make you partner and only give you less than 1% profit.

NO! ON! YOUR! LIFE!.

They are some out there that will give you a 50% split profit. If that being the case then those you should take a genuine look at.

This is what our network is all about. Getting you in front of the best and most profitable platforms to custom design you a business based on your Skills sets and interest. at the same time allowing you a split on others you introduce into our training program.

I totally agree with you. I've been active as an Internet Marketer for 16 years and tried hundreds of offers to earn a decent living working from home online. Only two have produced any consistent income. I gave up on one because I got tired of taking surveys. It actually paid well ($75 per survey) but, after eight years, my other online business succeeded so well. I didn't need to continue taking surveys. If your interested in what has been working for me check it out. www.serious.lbre04.com.

Hello, MJ. Thank you for your comment.
I did check out your site. Thank you. SFI is a good and legitimate program. In fact, SFI was my start up point in online marketing. Now I have my own brand business in Business Consulting, Marketing Strategy along with website traffic. Affiliate promotions are behind me and I'm now into training and coaching. Check out my website and my partnering company.

jondeese - I visited the LINKS you provided. I'm impressed, in fact THAT is exactly what I've been doing through my register trade name Revision Enterprises since 2004. I guess that makes us competitors. My consulting expertise is mainly from a financial perspective, guiding my clients through healthy business investments. You mentioned SFI involvement years ago. I too, was in SFI in the early days, but it didn't provide desired results fast enough. Recently however, I was reintroduced by

the Marketing tools and advice supplied to all affiliates in SFI. I now have been advising all my clients who are novice biz owners & newbie Internet Marketers to use SFI as an enhancement to properly establishing their new enterprises. The best thing is that it is absolutely free. Even if they do not grow in SFI, they can glean more great information about establishing and maintaining a prosperous online presence than through any other service that charges a fee.

Thank you. MJThompson.
I apologize for my late response as I have been under high demand for services based on new promotions I been running, as well as offline community support functions.
I will in near future have an analysis and assessment on SFI revisited to see if it is a possible fit for recommendations to clients looking to monetize their business platforms we help to build and promote.

First, yes home business opportunities are real Businesses, however any company or business that offers massive incomes within months of joining should be seen as suspicious.

Things to look for in a legit business opportunity

- A stable and reliable opportunity
- A company that is debt free company with no outside funding
- The possibility to gain overtime a good earning potential
- Considering niche products that are not sold in the local supermarket
- Look for businesses that offers a Free webshop and a Free back office to manage your business
- No monthly fee once you have paid your startup fee

Final point, if it looks too good to be true, it normally is

If you want to talk about starting a legit business click here *** SPAM FILTERED *** or PM me and I will get back to you asap...

My friend, I've been in Network (Affiliate) Marketing since 1996, and I agree with you when you say "however any company or business that offers massive incomes within months of joining should be seen as suspicious." except that my experiences have found that none of them actually lives up to such promises. Regardless of the business, it takes time and long hours in the very beginning. Then, if the program and company are sound, the chance of succeeding is that much greater.

Also, experience has taught me that the things you should look for in a reliable and sound company are:

(1) The Program – does it make sense?
(2) The Cost – Usually, if the program is great, it won't cost anything to get started.
(3) How great are the Benefits? – In most cases, it's the benefits that sets the stage to earning.
(4) What Products/Services are involved? Include them as part of the benefits. It's appeal and diversification that will create sales for you.

I hope this helps y

Think about this. If the opportunities were so good, WHY are they making them available to others for a FRACTION of what those businesses are worth to them. WHY aren't THEY taking advantage of the opportunities THEMSELVES? Does not make sense to 'sell' an opportunity worth thousands for peanuts.

I've been operating my own home biz since 2004. I also just recently started association with an organization I halfheartedly tried in the 90's but lost interest in. Well they really upped their business plan since then! In a few months, part-time (ten hours a week), I have succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. But there is a 'secret' to my success. Even in the greatest company/program if you don't follow the 'secret', you'll NEVER succeed. Find out what it is serious.lbre04.com. Peace!

I have been into online business since when AOL got started. LOL! guess that tells my age.
Then I built single page website for our family offline moving and delivery.
Over these many years, I have been on and offline in many ventures and certainly can spot what is real from what is a scam.

Ok. Now that you heard what you wanted to hear, Let me state what you need to hear.
Your website design is fantastic. No issue there. However, your marketing strategy is off set based on the content of SFI.
Considering SFI has very many moving parts to their product lines and the fact that SFI has many layers, it would be confusing to your visitors that come to your website, read all about your perspective on doing a home business and then herald over to SFI through your "Biz" page. More...

johndeese, Greetings! You can't insult someone then invite them to a private session. What you need to hear, which apparently you don't quite understand, is that the WEALTH of a program is as much in its "Training and Support" as it is in the products/services it promotes. The "many moving parts of SFI" are managed through what is also important - Taking your time.. Not being in a hurry.. and LEARNING at much more effective rate.

With All Do RESPECT! Okinawa.
I have no in no way Directly insulted nor have I giving a bad review of SFI. Think you need to read my messages again.
Secondly, Mr. Thompson request for review was about his website and not about SFI. I believe if you go back and read my message and internalize my discussion more you will see that.
Lastly, I and my associates know factually that branding your own business name is the best way to build a business online.

Mr. Thompson can brand his business based on his own skills sets and then use SFI products and services to enhance his business or in other words monetize his business.
But thank you for your observations Okinawa. It helps me to review the wording of my comments to see in what way you perceive my comments to be a negative impact on SFI. Again my review is of HIS website and not directly about SFI.

For transparencies here is a brief overview of what would be discussed in a Private session.

How to set up and brand your own website based on your own Skill sets and career.
How to use SFI in reviews within your own branded website to reflect you as an expert in the products and services that SFI offer.
How to Then Target the right audiences in which SFI is best for.
How to properly setup pages within Mr. Thompson website that will attract visitors to SFI ready to engage and convert.

Johndeese! Let us agree that I simply misunderstood. With regards to branding ones own business. I agree "branding your own business is the best way to build a business" if you choose to build from the ground up. Unless you have your own products/services to offer, you're still going to need a specific and/or service to build upon. Unfortunately, we're not living in the BEST of times. Researching demographics, start-up, taxation, etc. makes starting from scratch and branding

An ABSOLUTE nightmare. Fact is, branding is more about getting the face of your business out in front of the demographics you've pre-selected, then expanding beyond those demographics. That being said, it make better sense to hitch your wagon to a BRAND already established – and from that brand.. as an Independent Contractor.. basically use OPM which, in this case, would be SFI. Your investments are obviously smaller.. your time spent will be drastically lessened.. and as far as branding.. it

two-fold – SFI and you! I've owned two past businesses myself. They both failed.. and I lost a great deal of money and time. I guess it comes down to preference. I prefer to build my BRAND upon the 19 year successful brand of SFI!

I can respectfully appreciate your option to do so Okinawa. Yes, sub-branding of the success of another company can create success. And no doubt with a company like SFI, that can happen.
I personally rather continue to brand myself and my business. should It fail it will be by my doing. At less, I control the outcome. However, I don't want to wake one morning and suddenly the company I solely rely on has suddenly disappeared and now must scramble to remonetize my business.
More to come...

Now I'm not saying this will happen with SFI, as they are a viable industry leader in their field.
Yet you have no idea the number of individuals we work with in affiliate marketing programs that are frustrated with here today gone tomorrow affiliate programs.
I tell my clients if you're going to choose to rely on another company to monetize your business. You want to assure that company has years of showing success in the industry your in.

This has been a spirited and well-discussed question. Much has been shared and have given me perspective on others point of view in how you'll view affiliate programs to monetize your business.
