Do you think God created Man in His IMAGE?
Topics:
Religion Others, Religion Christian
But GOD IS NOT A PRIMATE.
According to the OXFORD dictionary, humans and apes are PRIMATES.
According to the BIBLE (Genesis 1: 26-27), God created Man in His IMAGE.
This assertion is grossly disrespectful, for the following reasons:
1- The OMNIPOTENT CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE does not have a physical IMAGE, SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS A SPIRITUAL ENTITY.
2- Reducing God’s “IMAGINARY IMAGE” to the level of a PRIMATE, is EXTREMELY RUDE.
3- UNDERESTIMATING GOD’S INFINITE POWER IS ALSO DISRESPECTFUL. THE OMNIPOTENT CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE CAN CREATE TRILLIONS OF HUMAN BEINGS, IN ONE SECOND, WITHOUT THE NEED TO INCORPORATE THE SIMIAN DNA.
What are your thoughts on this subject?
Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
John Romer
