Should sale of Shark Teeth and Jaws be banned?

Sharks have to be Killed to get their teeth and certainly their jaws.
So should there be laws against selling shark teeth and jaws?
A Ban on the sale of these items, is the only way IMO.
What do you think? Should we have laws against selling shark teeth and jaws?

You know there are so many Sharks in the Oceans that I think it will hardly make any difference.
Also, just look at how Scary those Shark Teeth are! Would you ever want to come in contact with that Monster in the Ocean?

Yes. This is another cruel and practice for human benefit and entertainment for people to hang a shark jaw in their home for others to be amazed at or to hang teeth around their neck.

Although I agree with part of you are saying. Sharks are hard to feel empathy with, given that they are a mindless eating machine.

I would not wish to swim with them certainly not! However, they are what they are and have been around for a lot longer than humans. They don't know they are mindless eating machines in the opinion of many people. We do not have an immutable right to take and kill because of a lack of understanding.

Yes, the question really is do we have the right, or is there anything really wrong, with us Killing some of them so that we can harvest their Shark Teeth for display? I think the answer is, as long as that is done in moderation, why not.

Well, based on that principle, we could also say is there anything wrong with sharks taking a few humans for their dinner as long as that too is in moderation? The thing is people take these objects as trophies with the shark being killed for just that part of them (as in shark fins for shark fin soup). The shark is left to die in agony just so people can have e.g. a necklace or wall-mounted trophy. It is not a "clean" kill.
