If you were NEVER previously influenced by the teachings of another (parents, friends, religious elders, etc.), would you be at all confused by the claims of God in the Bible? Centuries before Christ, God introduced Himself & claimed to be the ONE & ONLY LORD GOD & SAVIOR. “Yet I am the LORD your GOD ... you shall know no GOD but me: there is no SAVIOR beside me” –Hosea 13:4. “... there is no GOD else beside me; a just GOD & SAVIOR; there is NONE beside me” – Isa. 45:21. “You shall know that I the LORD am your SAVIOR ... the mighty One” – Isa. 60:16. “I am the LORD; & beside Me there is no SAVIOR” – Isa. 43:11. In NT passages, God introduces Jesus Christ as both LORD & SAVIOR. “My spirit has rejoiced in GOD my SAVIOR” – Lk.1:47. “For unto you is born ... a SAVIOR, which is Christ the LORD” – Lk. 2:11.Ultimately, Christ as SAVIOR has been credited with a COMPLETE attainment of salvation. Hosea 13:4 declares that there is ONLY ONE GOD & SAVIOR. GOD = SAVIOR: SAVIOR = GOD. GOD = LORD: LORD = GOD. Who is your LORD GOD & SAVIOR, & is He all 3 in 1?
