What do you think about Popes visit to USA?

As of course you all know Pope is in US. Visited with Prez yesterday and today he is in New York City where he is going to give speech at the UN.
What do you think will be the impact of this Popes visit on Christian Religion in USA?
And do you think it is positive for all Christian denominations or just the Catholics?

What's a pope? Any leaders of other faiths have zero relevance to the born-again Christian. His visit to the U.S. is as important as any irrelevant tourist is who travels from another country.

Friend, impact? Americans will consider what he says. IE: Open door policy with our borders, economic inequality, just economy equals happy families, environmental protection, fight partisanship, and dialogue not ideology. Christian Americans who know our history well will reject any words coming from him therefore little to no impact at all. Positive for all Christian denominations or just Catholics? Hmm. Actually, I don't think his visit will be marked as positive or negative. Within the Catholic church itself, there is great dissension. Way too liberal for some and there are those who never have nor ever will accept him. Some Catholics will blindly follow him without a second thought because that is what they were brought up to believe to be right. Christians in varying denominations, those who read scripture with the understanding of 2 Tim 3:16-17, recognize a jewdaizer when one is heard. Acts 15 pretty much dealt with that. So, neither positive nor negative. It is what it is.

Pope represents the only true Christian Religion, which is Catholicism.
All other Christian denominations are abominations and will be judges accordingly by the All Mighty and his Son. So Pope coming to US is a good thing to remind all those Christian aberrations such as protestant, Church of England, etc. that the only true Christianity is Catholicism.

Melo Friend, How did you arrive at your sweeping judgmental conclusions? If through Traditions then know that they are not inherently invalidโ€ฆthere are some good and valuable traditions. Again, the issue must be whether a doctrine, practice, or tradition is Biblical. How then does the Roman Catholic Church compare with the teachings of the Word of God? Perhaps this is best addressed as a new question. I think I'll post it.

Jesus descipels all went to Rome which resulted in creation of the Catholic Church in Rome and the Pope and St Pauls Cathedral. Put another way, there has always been a Pope, long before there were any Christian aberrations such as protestant, etc.

There has not always been a so-called pope at all.
There was never a so-called pope in the 1st century..
Your history is a mess.Peter the apostle wasn't a so-called pope either.
Only one Apostle went to Rome, and that was Paul,Peter stayed in Jerusalem, as he was an Apostle to the Jews, an Paul was apostle to the gentiles..
Actually there were Protestants in the 1st century. If only you had a better understanding of Scripture ?
The aberration is the catholic so called church. Revelation 17

For most People Catholicism is the Christian religion and Pope the Holiest of Holly.

I repeat my comments from another post: Call no man father [call no woman the mother of God] do not forbid marriage, lest your priests commit sexual immorality.

I am a protestant convert from Catholicism. I think he will have a positive impact on many individuals Catholic and non-Catholic. Although, as an adult, I do not believe many doctrines of the Catholic Church, the church had a positive impact on my life. It taught me foundational truths of the Christian faith and I am grateful. The Pope is coming in a time when Christianity is under a big attack in the states and many US citizens are losing faith. While the Catholic church is based a lot on tradition; I am grateful he represents many of the teachings of Christ: love your neighbor as yourself, bless those who curse you, forgiveness, generosity. We U.S. citizens need a reminder of these teachings and I think he is sparking faith, hope, and love across our nation. My prayer is that he had a godly impact on our congress, president, and leaders.

You should convert back to Catholicism b4 it is too late. God will forgive you for the ways you had erred which lead you to leave Catholicism and go to protestant.

I think that Pope Francis is one of the best Popes since Emperor Constantine made Christianity a legal religion. Why? Firstly, because he has a good heart. Secondly, because he believes in compassion, empathy, justice and philanthropy. Thirdly, because he is trying to find solutions to many GLOBAL PROBLEMS. Fourthly, because he is aware of the impending global disaster GLOBAL WARMING will be to the whole world. Fifthly, because he knows that a THIRD WORLD WAR will be the prophesied BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON.
On top of all those problems, he is expected to find solutions to the pedophile scandals, to same sex marriages, to rampant homosexuality, to legalized abortions and to the reputation of CHRISTIANITY as the MOST DIVIDED RELIGION IN THE WORLD.
I hope God gives him all the strength, and wisdom, to find some solutions to all those problems.
Kind Regards,
John Romer

Constantine did not make Christianity legal..he never even became a christian, and after Constantine was converted, he murdered his wife ' Faustia ', and then later, killed his son ' Constantius '.

Later on, He murdered all those that did not follow his now ' state religion '.
Constantine was apparently ' Posthumously ' converted,,and anyway, Constantine continued to worship his so called 'tutelary Deity ' i,e. Sol, until his death.

Sol is represented, still today, by the roman catholic monstrance. i.e. that thing that looks like a starburst, which has a muffin in the middle.
Get a book called ' The Two Babylons ' by Alexander Hislop.

You really need to get a history book mister.
That so called pope is a Jesuit deceiver, and a liar.
He is forever tweeting false doctrine, and attempting to trick people to accept catholicism as being Christian.

He tried that deceitful/satanic/Jesuit trickery using Tony Palmer, even though he was an Anglican, people still confuse Anglicanism with Christianity.I do not make that mistake.
Anglicanism = Un-poped catholicism.

After the first church (congregation) of GOD, the 'true' church (congregation), the one which Christ built upon Peter, was forced to go underground, so to speak, it was prophesied to return later. In its place, Constantine (the first Christian Emperor of Rome) established the worldly church of dominance which through time and much paganism, grew into what is known today as the Roman Catholic Church. While it is true he ordered the death of his wife, and murdered his son, neither incident

Constantine was never a Christian.!!
he continued to worship Sol as his so called tutelary deity, till his death.
He murdered his wife Faustia and his son Constantius..
Constantine may have been a model catholic, but he was definitely NOT Christian.
Okinawa you need a reality check.
