Looking forward to your replies to this one ;-)
The gap seems to be widening in the UK, I base this thought on - Food banks, Low pay, unemployment, Hardly any body being allowed a pay rise of more than 1.2%, The suggestion that the government is considering forcing the unemployed to work for their benefits (£1.91 per hour). Letting the more wealthy and big businesses get away with tax fiddles (Well certainly not doing enough about the problem), Banks having to pay out money (PPI) and cannot be trusted any more. Even charging the less well off for unused bedrooms in their council homes (It is usually the least well off in our society who depend on council housing and rented accommodation).
Oh! yes and just in case some say that the British worker won't do low paid work, like in the food producing industry (Consider that they just simply may not be able to affort to do that in the UK)(Foreigners are used to a different life style and culture to those born in the UK.)
Where will all this end?
