What are the key steps to maintaining long lasting health?

4. Exercise of Mind (Mind Practices that bring Healthy Emotions & Growth)
5. Exercise of Spirit (Spiritual Practices: Even Atheistic Thoughts are rooted Beliefs, thus Centering in That is the main key)

This is the 5 Keys to Health and the foundation that I use with my clients. The interconnectedness of all those are really what allow for long and healthy life. There have been studies that show that people that indulge in one out of each category live more fulfilling lives, thus keeping balance in each would be the key to graceful ageing.

The best way to keep long-term health:
1. Eating healthy foods, especially vegetables from nature, fish and meat, fresh healthy.
2. Eliminate bad habits, such as smoking, drinking alcohol, lack of sleep, thinking about bad things and always suspicious.
3. Strive to always be happy, in any event, take positive lessons.
Enjoy life, with a happy heart in a happy family, is a natural source for maintaining long-term health.

This is a bit too much yet too ambiguous! What if the person has no family? What if they are dealing with trauma, grief, loss, then there is no "happy-heart"? Where and How are they supposed to just go out to "take Positive lessons"? Sometimes people have to think the "bad" as a process out of it!
I do trauma coaching and it is obvious that you may not have any training in transpersonal psychology, I wonder how much emotions you may have stuck & need help with???
