How can I get rid of this Weed that has invaded our House?

I hope you all can help.
You see the attached Weed foto, this darn thing in a short order has taken over our backyard garden, having multiplied to like 100+ and thus ruining our House garden :(

I have tried to pull them out by hand, but it too tough and too time consuming. So do you all have ideas of what I need to buy to remove this Weed for good and efficiently?
