Eve who had sinned by obedience to God and believed Satan over God, thus calling God a Lair.
When she offered the forbidden fruit to Adam she was also sinning and trying to justify herself by having Adam also being disobedient to God.
The point is that once you give into peer pressure/sin then the one who got you to sin started to control your life. satan then became god of this world. A good lesson for young people.
Or you could say satan got Adam and Eve to lower themselves to his level of sin.
