Some regard Christianity synonymous with their dogma. Some accept a full range of faith groups from ultra conservative fundamentalists to progressive liberal sects. 75% of North Americans consider themselves Christians. World-wide, Christianity is 35 times larger than Judaism & Islam combined. What do these statistics reveal in light of these statements of Christ? “Strait is the gate, & narrow the way which leads unto life, & FEW there be that find it” - Mt.7:14. “Take heed that ye be not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and, ‘the time draws near.’ Go ye not therefore after them” – Lk. 21:8. Paul gave this exhortation: “For if he that comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit which ye have not received, or another gospel which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him” – 2Co.11:4. The phrase “ye might well bear with him” is a sarcasm better translated in our modern vernacular as “you tolerate him”. Are most "christians" following "another" Jesus, gospel, or spirit?
