How would you envisage the next art movement to gain recognition?

Art is forever evolving - new ideas, trends such as arts & crafts, cubism, conceptual, abstract, fauvism.
So what do you think is next?
How do you envisage the next art movement to gain recognition?

It would need to have integrity, authenticity as well as accessibility. I also think that any future art movement that would gain momentum would need to be based on assiduous art practice.

I think it needs to be elemental.
It needs to get across the Core message that life is elemental, and that all these Mobile Phones, Apps, etc. only take us away from our Core rather than bring us closer to who we really are.

The current art movement isn't going anywhere. What is needed is a new provocative look. To many artist paint to sell...not to innovate.

Yes, but how can they pay the expenses if they/we do not sell our Art?

I see the next new art movement gaining recognition via the web and cell phone technology. I think the real significant shift will be something that has to do with many people working together on an art project. Sort of how social media involves millions contributing tiny bits each. In writing it is already happening when one artist, author, blogger starts the discussion then everyone adds their comments. The next fazes will be the other fields of art doing the same thing. Someone starts a digital painting others contribute with a record being kept of each step along the way just like blog comments. Thus new arrivals to the site can start at the beginning and see each step to the present. Then a new comer can be the next participant or just observe. This can be done with music, dance choreography digital 3d sculpture any art. Most has been hinted at within the digital game field already. Community art is the next fascination I think will take hold of us all. http://www.anewtale.com

My Art is made the old school way by hand, Taught by the Kapuna ( Master Craftsmen) The wood grain, weight, smoothness can only be seen and felt in-person. 3D pictures can capture only a small portion of the product, Pictures is the next best thing.

3D art produced using 3D printers is the next leap in art. Vases, statuary, and touchable images will work their way into the market during the next decade.

People will be able to download a data file and have their home printer print out the work. People without their own 3D printers will soon be able to go to a store front in the nearest mall, look at examples of available art work, then wait while a 3D printer creates the finished product for them.

I agree ; but if it does take off some artists will be unable to make a living as artists. Illustration & retouching are now executed by apple apps.
