A recent report indicates that the U.S. Government will "go broke" by October 2013. It's not the first time the government has faced bankruptcy, yet every time, instead of fixing the problem (too much spending) they merely increase the national debt cap!
By conservative estimates, the country is already mortgaged well into the 22nd century, while government officials continue to "vote" themselves raises (the average government official makes more than most corporate CEO's). So much for "public servants" elected to perform according to the will of the people!
If things aren't bad enough with cuts in infrastructure funding, education, medicare, and the soon to be depleted social security system, how can America even consider spending billions of dollars on yet another international "intervention" (this time Syria)? Where's Obama's "New Hope" achieved any lasting positive change?
