Is God's LOVE unconditional?

I'm a father of 4 & grandfather to 10. I understand the father - child relationship. I
have UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for ALL my children. They don't always obey me. They rarely even
agree with me. Sometimes, they even openly rebel and defy me to my face. NONE of those
acts of disrespect & disobedience affect my LOVE for them. If I am capable of such
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, how is that possible if God, who is a far better father than I, does
NOT LOVE with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE?
