I have gotten down to seriously thinking how much time I lose watching the TV. I think too much Telly watching could be termed a form of "self sabotage", because it stops me living my life to the full and achieving the things I value. It gives me an excuse not to get things done!
A friend of mine wrote: "We recently had visitors from overseas and I did not go on my computer for 5 days and do you know what - I survived . I not only survived i was left with the question of how much I had lost by becoming a computer addict. I was sewing by hand again; I was socialising; I was doing jigsaws;
I was thinking about painting again - all things I enjoyed pre computer days. So.....life obviously goes on without the computer and given some of the personal and health issues I am sort of coping with, have seriously been thinking about cutting my broadband limit so I cannot spend so much time looking around. My trouble is that I love surfing....there is so much of interest out there . It is as bad as being an alcoholic........."
Is here anything good that can be said about watching telly?
