Is Windows 8 good? Specially for Web site development.

Been thinking of getting a new PC and not sure about Windows 8.
I have heard many people do not like it.
Specially what I want to know are:

1- Have you started using Window 8 and what do you think of it?

2- I am a Web site developer so need ready access to the OS. So have you found Windows 8 a help or hindrance to development?
