Does marriage perish love or it enhances love?

I met plenty of couples who complained that their love has been perished because of marriage. They explained that before their marriage they were free. No one interfere their life. Because they were free, their intensity to love was immense. It was infinite. But after marriage it is impossible to compromise life. neither husband nor wife can do anything without permission.
