How can Olympic officials be dropping Wrestling?

Have you read that the news that the Olympic officials have decided to drop Wrestling?

How & Why in GODs name the Olympic is dropping Wrestling when
Wrestling is one of the original Olympic sports going back to
Greek & Persian times when the Olympic was first played.

Why not drop off some of these idiotic Olympic events like
Womenโ€™s Synchronizing Swimming rather than Wrestling which
is one of the bed rock of what makes Olympic?

What the Hell is going on!
What the Hell are the Olympic officials thinking about that would lead them to drop of such key part of the Olympic as Wrestling?
How can we Stop this dumb decision?
