Renewable Energy has been discussed for years and possibly for decades, without significant changes in the way and manner we conduct our daily lives.

Even though wind generators, solar panels, photovoltaic systems have seen a boom, the over all effect of all combined forms of renewable energy are still below the 10 % mark.

The focus on environmental strategies can not be significantly changed till developing countries will stop their devastating effects of deforestation, and indiscriminate use of conventional, speak fossil fuel based energy.

Developed countries hold a key to development here, yet seem to be powerless in implementing significant strategies to change the status quo. For logic reasons, and all these point to the lobbying of the big oil companies who are posed to lose in the deal.

If all cars will run on water, and electric power, the oil companies will lose their main source of income. Understandably therefore, they will block attempts in all possible ways to make renewable forms of energy a prime source for our car - and other industries.
