Blogs that you password protect to be only accessible to those whom you have given the password to are now automatically set to be SSL secured. As a result you can now carry on confidential discussions via your free AnooX Blog service, knowing that your discussions are secured from any possible access by an unauthorized person.

Now when someone replies to another reply, the replies are threaded so that the reader can visually see who has replied to whom. This way discussions are carried out in a threaded fashion, from the Article level through replies posted and replies posted to the replies. Thus leading to a much more engaging discussion forum.

You can now designate an Article to be the Introductory Article of your selected Blog. As a result the Article will always be the 1st Article that people will see when accessing your selected Blog and will not be able to Vote it Down or Up. So this Article will always have the 1st position in the list of Articles posted to your selected Blog. Therefor you can use this Introductory Article to describe what your Blog is about, to introduce people to the purpose and mission of your Blog, etc..

Your AnooX provided Free Blog is a hosted service. So you do not need to install any software on your server. In fact, you don't even a need to have a Web site of your own to have your own AnooX Free Blog. To access your AnooX provided Free Blog you just need to access the URL of your free Blog, which would be like: www.anoox.com/myblog/xyz

You and your Blog visitors can access your Blog from any web browser without needing to download any software or needing any special plug-ins. This is because the client side of the AnooX Blog is HTML based only.

You can choose whether other people can post Articles to one or more of your Blogs or not. If you choose NOT then only you will be able to post Articles to your selected Blog and others will be able to post comments to your Articles or replies to other comments. This feature by Default is ON.

This feature allows people visiting your Blog to send you Private Messages, in addition to posting public messages. Your email address is never seen by the public as all private messaging will take place anonymously. This option is by default ON.

Only you as the owner of your Blog will be able to see and access an Edit button that will appear next to each Article and Comment that is posted on your Blog. You can then simply click to instantly Edit the selected Article or Comment that has been posted to your Blog.

Only you as the owner of your Blog will be able to see and access a Delete button that will appear next to each Article and Comment that is posted on your Blog. You can then simply click to Delete the selected Article or Comment that has been posted to your Blog. Please be careful in exercising this power as its result is irrevocable.

Once you have clicked on the Delete button in the follow up screen you can choose to send an (email) message to the poster as to Why you are Deleting their post from your Blog. Please note that this message as all messages will be delivered by AnooX email system so they will never see your email address and vis versa you will never see their email address. Should you choose to Delete their post without sending them an explanation reason, you can do so, in this case just leave the message Box area blank.

Once you have clicked on the Delete button in the follow up screen you can choose to click to Block the IP of the Poster. In which case the person with that IP will not be able to access your Blog any more. Please be very careful with this feature, it is irrevocable.

You can submit an Article that you have posted to your Blog for publication under AnooX News. Should your Article be accepted by Editorial staff of AnooX News it will then be automatically listed under AnooX News while still displaying under your Blog. One benefit of doing this is that of course having your Article posted under AnooX News will send much more traffic to your Article, and consequently to your Blog. But please note strict conditions apply for accepting an Article for publication under AnooX News, which primarily are that the Article must be newsworthy and non-commercial - more info.
